Although your BP is low, low BP is only ever a problem if you are symptomatic with dizziness etc. It's only just borderline hypotensive which is defined as BP <90/60. If you are not symptomatic and it's not causing you any issues then don't worry about it. What did your ECG show? Did they do other tests? Why did you go for an ECG in the first place? Single BP readings should never be consdiered diagnostic anyway. Your above normal heart rate could be explained by anxiety at the time of reading.
do you smoke, do any form of exercise?? normal bp is 120/80. Your arteries are probably very stiff and are therefore not elastic enough to recoil when a surge of blood passes through, hence a low blood pressure. Normal hr is about 70 beats per min, lack of exercise and poor diet is most likely the cause. also, were u sitting down, relaxed and at rest when the hr was taken cos all these factors can affect it.
In the first place, and it is unlikely that this would be for someone discovery diabetes should limit the use of easily assimilated carbohydrates - it is sugar, honey, marmalade and jams, candies, bakery products and other sweets, sweet fruits and fruit: grapes, bananas, raisins , dates. Often there are even recommendations to exclude these products from their diet, but this Action
needed only in severe form of diabetes.
