I am mixed and i really hate my skin. Especially the skin on my neck/throat and back. So i wondered how i could change it without spending a fortune and damaging my skin severly. I am not planning on being chalk white or having fair skin. A Dark Olive Skin Tone would be fine and still seem natural. I live in Europe and it's not to sunny here but when it is i usually use sunblocker and avoid going into the sun. I want to be lighter because i like the way it looks. I do think that other people are pretty with dark skin but not me. I do NOT want to lighten my skin because someone has told me or because of celebirties (i actually do have the skin color most black celebirties WANT. It kinda like Rhianna- maybe a little lighter). My mum thinks i have oh so pretty skin but i think it's to dark. I heard that they are diets and stuff????

success in skin lightening does not rely on products alone.. although choosing the right products is essential, there are other things to consider and do to lighten skin effectively..here's a good article to educate you how to achieve it correctly and safely -

umm.. i think peroxide might help you out because when i get it on my skin it goes noticably lighter in that spot.
but i would reccommend testing it on a small spot that's hidden first, my skin is very light so there's not much of a difference it could make, it might look funny on you. it allways eventually goes back to it's origional color though.

well i want lighter skin too so i started using this filipino soap called 'likas papaya soap' so far it works for me (but you gotta be patience, it takes awhile)... it make your skin dry though so you have to use lotion and also you have to use sunblock if you go outside in the sun... it's not that expensive i bought the soap for $2 at an asian market (i have no idea where you could buy it in Europe though) you could also buy it online i don't know how much though...

there are skin bleaching creams. and skin litening creams, they are not over nite treatments, but after a while it will lighten any dark or uneven areas, and safe enought to use on the face...
look around for beauty supply stores..
you should be able to find one for under ten dollars...usually less than 5 dollars...
